Ewald Klüber

Ewald Klüber (* 1948 in Geisa ; † June 3, 2014 in Schleid ) was an automation technician from Schleid in Thuringia and president of the Rhön Club .

He studied in Ilmenau, spent several years in Berlin, Potsdam, Jena and Dresden for professional reasons, and worked in research and development at the Vacha cable factory . With the German reunification he moved to the district office of the Wartburg district and worked there in the field of economic and tourism promotion. For two years he was also the managing director of the working group (ARGE) Rhön of the five districts in the Rhön .

Klüber was also a member of the Rhön Club's foundation board, was Vice President from 2008 to 2011 and President of the Rhön Club from 2011 to 2013. He was the first Thuringian to head the Rhön Club. He resigned from office because of internal disputes.

In 1989 he was also a co-founder of the Geisa branch of the Rhönklub.
