The purchasing group Expert International GmbH (spelling: expert ) based in Zug , Switzerland , was founded on October 16, 1967 by six national purchasing organizations in Zurich as Intercop GmbH. It was renamed Expert International GmbH on March 30, 1971.
Today Expert International GmbH has companies in 21 countries with over 3,600 stores and a turnover of over 13 billion euros.
The independent German national company is Expert SE .
Expert Austria
Electrical retailers in Austria recognized the advantages of a purchasing cooperative as early as 1958 and came together to strengthen medium-sized companies. In 1976, EXPERT Austria e.Gen. joining the international expert group. Currently, more than 170 member companies in Austria, which operate more than 180 electrical shops throughout Austria, enjoy advantages and services that now go far beyond the joint purchase of goods.
