The Explorers Range is a mountain range in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Bowers Mountains , it stretches from Mount Bruce in the north to the Carryer and McLin Glaciers in the south.
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after the explorers ( English explorer ) of the northern group of 1963 carried out until 1964 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition had carried out the comprehensive topographic and geological surveys of the area of the range.
