Georgia Expo

The Expo Georgia (formerly Vdnkh ) is an exhibition center in Tbilisi in Georgia . It consists of a total of eleven pavilions and an entrance building. It was built from 1960 to 1971 according to the plans of the architects D. Papinashvili, Levan Mamaladze , Wladimer Nasaridze and W. Peykrishvili.

At the entrance building there is a mosaic by the artists Aliko Gorgadse and Teso Asatiani from 1963. At pavilion 8 there is a long mosaic wall by the artist Leonardo Schengelia from 1971. At pavilion 3 there is a large mosaic by the artist Guram Kalandadze from 1971.

The site was privatized after 1990 and renamed Expo Georgia.
