Extensor carpi radialis reflex

The extensor carpi-radialis reflex is a self-reflex on the front limb of animals. The extensor carpi radialis muscle is tapped a little below the elbow joint . The response is an extension of the forefoot joint . The reflex center lies in the last two neck and first chest segments of the spinal cord (C7 – Th1), the reflex pathways run over the radial nerve .
