The eccentric tie-rod is a fixed apparatus at a sink - fitting is firmly integrated or can be mounted to the raising and lowering of the valve disk to facilitate a drain valve.

The mechanics for the control are attached in front of or behind the fitting. In the simplest case, the eccentric pull rod consists of two rods and a joint with a guide. The entire mechanism can be located inside the ceramic or outside the wash basin.
