The four-storey , four-axle house is a former part of the Stralsund city wall and is of medieval origin. It was initially used as a warehouse , and since it was renovated in the late 1990s, it has served as a residential building and event center.

The facade is made of brick . Four segment-arched hatches each characterize the second and third floors.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 184.
