Fährwall 6 (Stralsund)
The house with the postal address Fährwall 6 is a listed building in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund on Fährwall .
The six-story , nine-axle house was built in the third quarter of the 19th century. It was initially used as a storage facility.
The facade is made of brick and has an ornamental cornice at the end, a German band of designed frieze also runs over the first floor . Since extensive renovation in 2012 and 2013, the building has been used as a hotel together with the buildings at Fährwall 5 , Fährstrasse 25 and the building complex at Fährstrasse 23/24 .
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 186.
