The Fédération française du sport automobile (FFSA) is the French umbrella organization for automobile sport . The FFSA has national sport sovereignty in France .

The federation represents the national interests in the world federations FIA and has the status of an ASN ( French : Autorité Sportive Nationale , carrier of the national sport sovereignty). Accordingly, the FFSA is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of international regulations and the issuing of licenses and is entitled to issue international FIA licenses for your national licensees.
