Five Pagoda Temples, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia

The Five Pagoda Temple (Chin. Wuta si五塔寺) with the so-called "Diamond Throne Sarira Pagoda" ( Jingang zuo sheli baota金刚 座 舍利 宝塔; English Jingang-based Dagoba / Sarira Pagoda on Vajrasana at Cideng Temple) is a purpose-built 1727-1732 Buddhist temple dating back to the Qing dynasty in the district Yuquan the city of Hohhot of inner Mongolia in the people's Republic of China . It is also known by its previous name Cideng Temple ( Cideng si慈 灯 寺) and has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (3-158) since 1988 .

The Indian Diamond Throne Pagoda Style features five smaller pagodas on a square base known as the "Diamond Throne" (Vajrasana).
