The Fürnbergsche Post Street is an old street in Lower Austria .

Joseph Weber von Fürnberg received the post office privilege in 1791 and built a post road. The road followed the Weitental and Hölltal valleys, only between Leiben Castle and Pöggstall did it lead directly over the Aichau hill (Scheiben), then across the Schwarzautal valley and further over Seiterndorf , where a few bridges are still preserved. The post offices built in Luberegg , Pöggstall and Gutenbrunn were inherited from the emperor.
