Princely Liechtenstein Merit

The Princely Liechtenstein Merit Sign was donated on July 22, 1937 by Prince Franz I von und zu Liechtenstein in two classes ( gold and silver ) and can be awarded to nationals and foreigners who have rendered services to the principality .

Order decoration

The sign of the order is a gold-plated or silver-plated cross with bars that widen outwards and which are semicircular at the ends. In the blue enamelled medallion with a red border the golden letter L (Liechtenstein). The initials of the founder FIL (Franz I. von Liechtenstein) on the reverse .

Carrying method

The award is worn on a red triangular ribbon with two dark blue side stripes on the left side of the chest. Women wear the award on a women's bow.

Others

The Princely Liechtenstein Order of Merit should not be confused with the Princely Liechtenstein Order of Merit . This is its own foundation.
