FILA - Fabbrica Italiana Lapis ed Affini SpA , also called FILA Group , is an Italian company that manufactures and sells artist materials, with brands and subsidiaries such as B. Daler-Rowney, Canson, Lyra and Maimeri.

FILA was founded in Florence in 1920 . The group has been based in Milan since 1959 . In the 1990s, the Candela family took control of the company. FILA has been expanding since 2000 by taking over numerous international competitors. In November 2015 FILA was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. The group has around 6,500 employees in over 50 countries (2016).
