FM Schilling

FM Schilling (also: FM Schilling or Deutsche Industrie FMS ) was a doll factory founded in Sonneberg in the 19th century .

history

The FM Schilling company was founded in 1871 and until the 1920s produced dolls made of paper mache , rubber and wax as well as dolls composed of various materials.

1878, the company dropped the trademark Biscuit Facon subscribe to a system developed by Schilling "[...] permanent paper Machee material". In the following year, 1879, the brand with the winged angel's head and the words "Factory brand deposited" was registered.
