The FC Brugg is a Swiss football club from the city of Brugg in the canton of Aargau . At the moment the team plays in the 2nd division , the fifth highest division in Switzerland.
On May 24, 2008 the club rose after 5 years of presence in the 1st division first in the 2nd interregional league, a year later in the 2nd regional league and in the following year even in the 3rd league. In the next season, however, the direct promotion to the top regional league followed, in which FC Brugg is to this day.
The football club from Brugg is best known for its excellent youth work. Usually all three divisions (A, B and C-Juniors) play in the top national league.
Stadion
FC Brugg plays its home games in the Au stadium. The capacity is 3,300 spectators, of which 300 seats (imported directly from the former Hardturm Stadium) and 3,000 standing places.
