The FC Fraserburgh (officially: Fraserburgh Football Club ) is a Scottish football club from Fraserburgh , Aberdeenshire . Currently (as of 2013) he plays in the Highland Football League . The club has the nickname The Broch , which is derived from the Scottish Gaelic name of the city A 'Bhruaich . The club plays its home games in the 3,000-seat Bellslea Park .
history
The club was founded in 1910 and has played at Bellslea Park ever since . As early as 1909, some of the city's residents decided to found a football club. They were supported by the two brothers Henry and Wilf Low . Henry, who played for Sunderland AFC , and his brother Wilf, who played for Newcastle United and won the English FA Cup in 1910, played a key role in the founding. The club colors black and white in stripes are based on Newcastle United, which, like FC Fraserburgh, comes from a port city.
