The FC Holstein Segeberg was a sports club from Bad Segeberg . The first soccer team played in the highest amateur league in Schleswig-Holstein for eight years .

history

In 1908, high school students founded FC Holstein 08 Segeberg . After the end of the Second World War , the club merged with MTV Segeberg in 1945 to form TuS 1860 Segeberg . FC Holstein was re-established three years later. In 1953 Holstein became champion of the district class south and made the leap into the second-class amateur league Schleswig-Holstein in the promotion round . Holstein stayed in the upper house for two years and returned after many years in the mediocre 2nd amateur league southBack in 1963. In the promotion season, the team reached fifth place, but had to relegate again in 1966. After the immediate resurgence, Holstein was again fifth before the team had to relegate for the third time in 1970.

After the season Holstein merged with SV 1892 Segeberg , the Badminton Club Segeberg and the Judoclub Segeberg to form SV Eintracht Segeberg . In the early 1990s, he played for three years in the Schleswig-Holstein Association League , while the A-youth became national champions in 1990.
