The FC Münchberg is a former football club from the Upper Franconian town of Münchberg .
The association was founded in 1910. The club achieved the greatest success in its history in 1968 when it was promoted to the Bavarian League as champion of the Landesliga Nord . The team could not keep up with the playing level of the top Bavarian league in the 1968/69 season and was relegated immediately. After that, the club shuttled between the regional league and the district league until the end of the 1980s.
In 2000 he merged with city rivals SC Eintracht Münchberg to form FC Eintracht Münchberg. This club plays in the district league Oberfranken Ost in the 2019/20 season.
