The FIL Junior World Cup Luge on Natural Track is a competition series in natural track luge organized by the International Luge Federation (FIL) and was introduced by the FIL to promote the international development of the sport as a replacement for the Intercontinental Cup (IC Cup, later European Cup). It has been held annually from December to February since winter 2014/15. The overall winners in the single-seater women , single-seater men and doubles disciplines for the junior and youth classes are determined in four races . Both men and women can compete in the two-seater, but the participants are almost exclusively men. All athletes with a valid FIL license who are at least 15 years of age and not yet 21 years of age in the year in which the season ends are eligible to participate. A maximum of six women in singles, six men in singles and three pairs of doubles can take part in a World Cup race per national association.

The result of a World Cup race is determined by the sum of the times achieved in two competition runs. In exceptional weather or track conditions, the race can also be decided in just one round. The starting order in the first run is determined by the intermediate result in the World Cup classification. The World Cup leader starts last and the athletes with few or no World Cup points start first. In the first race of the season, the overall result of the previous year is decisive. The second run will start after the broken ranking of the first run, so the half-time leader will start last. At least one forerunner must drive on the track before each competition run.

Awarding of points and overall evaluation

For each World Cup race, World Cup points are awarded according to the FIL point system. The winner receives 100 points, the second placed 85 points, the third placed 70 points and the further ranks fewer and fewer points, up to 39th place, for which two points are awarded. From 40th place, all athletes receive a World Cup point.

The overall World Cup ranking for each discipline and the national ranking result from the sum of the points scored in the World Cup races. In the doubles, the respective pairs are rated and not the athletes. If a toboggan runner starts in a two-seater with different partners during a season, these teams are rated individually.
