FIR rim

Fabbrica Italiana Ruote - FIR is an Italian manufacturer of bicycle rims from Riese Pio X .

In 1956 the Arrigoni brothers founded the company FIR in Boltiere (Bergamo). In the 1960s, the company had its rims tested by professional bike teams. In 1980, FIR was the first company to use carbon fiber reinforced plastic for building wheels and introduced the Aru system.
