The FSG Tacherting 1909 e. V. is a shooting club from the Upper Bavarian community of Tacherting . The FSG is divided into the areas of archery and rifle and pistol shooting . The bow department's FITA facility is located at the northern end of the Tacherting district, not far from the Alz River . The rifle and pistol shooters have their shooting ranges in a part of the shelter of the building yard.

The archery department of FSG Tacherting is three times German team champion in archery.

history

The sports club was founded in 1909 as a Zimmerstutzen society. In 1926, the Tacherting fire protection company was founded. In 1973 an archery group was formed for the first time. In 1991, with generous support from the community, part of the shelter in the building yard was converted into a shooting range. There were 10 air rifle stands and 12 bow stands in the hall. On April 20, 2002, the new FITA system in the bow department was inaugurated. In 2009 the 100th anniversary of the association was celebrated.
