Fabius Faustinianus

Fabius Faustinianus (his prenomen is not known; his cognomen may have been Faustianianus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd or 3rd century AD .

Two dedicatory inscriptions found at Eining Fort , one of which is dated 131/250, prove that Faustinianus was prefect of the Cohors III Britannorum .

Remarks

  1. The cognomen is indicated differently in the two inscriptions at the EDCS ; Farkas István Gergő indicates Faustinianus , Tatiana Alexandrovna Ivleva on the other hand Faustianianus .
