Fabrice Pancrate (born May 2, 1980 in Paris ) is a French football player . He is currently under contract with FC Nantes . He plays in the position of the winger and can be used on both sides. He also plays in attacking midfield.

Career

Pancrate began his career in 1999 at the French amateur club CS Louhans-Cuiseaux , where he was active until 2000. That year he moved to the then first division club EA Guingamp , where he only played six games. After only two years he left the club again and moved to the second division , where he hired at UC Le Mans . Here he played regularly and rose to the House of Lords after only one season with the Red-Yellows. However, he could not prevent the relegation of his team, although he himself was saved from going back to the second division: His home club Paris Saint-Germain had become aware of him. Here, like at Le Mans, it was an important performer until it was only used sparingly in the 2006/2007 season. As a result, he was loaned to the Spanish relegation candidate Betis Sevilla for the second half of the season . In his Primera División debut , he scored right in the game against Athletic Bilbao , three minutes after being substituted on. With the Spaniards he managed to stay up and returned to Paris for the new season. At PSG he took on the role of the joker in the 2008/09 season: in his 20 appearances he was substituted on 15 times. After his contract with Paris St. Germain was not renewed, he signed on November 21, 2009 with Newcastle United . At Newcastle Pancrate completed a total of sixteen league games in the Football League Championship , but could not recommend itself for a regular place and was not committed to the end of the season in June 2010.
