The title of specialist lawyer for tenancy and residential property law is a specialist lawyer designation of the German professional law of lawyers .

The designation specialist lawyer for tenancy and residential property law was introduced by the constitutional assembly of the Federal Bar Association at its meeting from November 22 to 23, 2004.

In order to acquire the title of specialist lawyer for tenancy and residential property law, as with all specialist lawyer titles, proof of particular practical experience is required. Here, § 5 S. 1 lit. j FAO evidence of 120 cases handled by the applicant, of which at least 60 were judicial proceedings. At least 60 cases must relate to the areas specified in § 14c No. 1 to 3, with at least 5 cases to each of these three areas.
