The Fachklinik Rhein / Ruhr is a hospital for interdisciplinary rehabilitation medicine in the Essen district of Kettwig .

The building complex of the clinic on the Ruhr heights south of the Kettwiger See was built in 1977. The clinic is recognized according to §111 SGB V, belongs to the operator Mediclin within the Asklepios group and has 460 beds in 355 rooms. Every year around 6,000 patients are treated in the fields of internal medicine , cardiology , neurology , orthopedics and geriatrics as inpatients, part-time inpatients and outpatients. The house also has a guest house, a swimming pool, a chapel, a library and a cafe.
In 1994, the public prosecutor investigated fraud in the accounts.
