The half-timbered storage building at Steinkuhlenstrasse 30 in Detmold- Barkhausen was entered on May 19, 1993 under the number 414 in the list of architectural monuments in Detmold .
The former granary was originally built in Istrup and is dated to the first half of the 18th century. The building was moved to the Betghe farm and moved to its current location in 1892. Since then it has been used as a two-family house.
In the justification of the monument, the conversion of an agricultural outbuilding is emphasized as living space.
