Fade
As Fade (English fade ) is called a hood - the one hand, in the tone range ( Audio ), on the other hand in the image area ( Video ).
There are three different types of fades:
- Fade in
- Audio: When " fade-in " the volume level is increased.
- Video: fade-in , see fade-in and fade-in
- Fade out
- Audio: The volume is reduced when the “ fadeout ” occurs.
- Video: fade (Engl. Fade-out ), see high and low beam
- Fade (combination of fade out and fade in)
- Audio: A " crossfade " is the transition from one sound image (e.g. a song) to another. This method is used, for example, for music titles in discos .
