Fafa (also: Fafā , Faffao ) is a small island in the north of Tongatapu in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The Motu is located in the center of the archipelago off the north coast of Tongatapu in a line with ʻOnevai and the two islets Velitoa Hihifo and Velitoa Hahake . The Ualanga Lalo Reef and Juno Rock and Augusta Rock are in the vicinity .
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Tongatapu Group, Fafa is occasionally hit by cyclones .
