Fafnir Ridge is a 1.5 km long mountain ridge on Alexander I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It extends north of the Draco Spur at the northern end of the Finlandia Foothills .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2018. It is named after Fafnir , a dragon figure from Norse mythology.
