The Faculty of Technologies of the Kaunas College is a faculty of the Kaunas College .

history

The faculty emerged from two higher schools (former technical schools) in Kaunas .

In August 1945 the technical center for the pulp and paper industry was built. In 1948 the first nine technologists and nineteen mechanics completed their training. This resulted in the technical center for wood processing for training furniture makers. In 1963 it became the Technological Technical Center Kaunas and in 1967 it became the Technologie-Technikum Kaunas.

In August 1953 the technical center for the food industry in Kaunas was built. In 1957 the first 22 mechanics and 54 technologists graduated from this technical school.

In 1991 two higher schools, the Kauno aukštesnioji technologijos mokykla (KATM) and Kauno aukštesnioji maisto pramonės mokykla (KAMPM), were established instead of the technical schools . They merged to form the Faculty of the Kaunas College.
