The Kaunas College (lit. Kauno kolegija ) is a state university with 7,100 students (2,300 of them undergraduates ) and 93 free graduates in Kaunas ( Lithuania ). There are 40 courses. The Kaunas College has four student dormitories, 12 academic buildings and more than 70 laboratories and workshops where students and teachers conduct various research, research, art and science projects.
history
The Kaunas College was founded on September 1st, 2000. From 2000 to 2003 seven faculties and two departments were created. In 2000 the higher schools (Kaunas Technology School and Kaunas Business School) were merged. In 2001 the Kaunas Medical School and Kaunas Art School were added, followed by the Jonušas Radvila College in Kėdainiai and the Kaunas Food Industry School in 2003 .
The Bachelor's degree has been available since 2007.
From 2000 to 2011 there were 14,000 graduates. In 2012 there were over 1,020 employees.
