The Falls of Dochart are located in the River Dochart near Killin in the Stirling Council Area or the traditional Scottish county of Perthshire at the western end of Loch Tay .

There is an exceptional view of the falls cascading over the rocks from the Bridge of Dochart , which crosses the river on the southern edge of Killins. Inchbuie Island , the traditional burial place of the MacNab clan , is also visible from there. In the early 19th century, the Falls of Dochart, together with the Bridge of Dochart, Inchbuie Island and today's Folklore Center, formed a well-known motif for artists.
