Family users

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The family user is a fictional item that Loriot invented for a short comic cartoon . The term is used metaphorically for useless objects of daily use. The family user is in a fictional interview between the characters chief reporter Kurt Rosner and headmistress Bartels characterized by Mrs. Bartels as follows:

“It's an article that is appealing because of its pleasant shape, right? It is elegant, weatherproof, noiseless, skin-friendly, easy to care for, completely functional and - for an extra charge - also removable. A gift that brings joy, for the gentleman, for the lady, for the child, right? "

The cartoon was first seen in the original version on December 23, 1968 in the series Cartoon (episode 7). For the television series Loriot (episode VI) , which was first broadcast on December 7, 1978, Loriot created a new version, which he integrated into the plot of the skit Christmas at Hoppenstedts .
