Fandourat asch Schahariya ( Arabic French Île des Boutres - "Island of the Daus ", also: Fandourat ach Chahariya , Fandoûrat ach Chahâriya) is an uninhabited island in the Gulf of Tadjoura , which is located just before the entrance to Ghoubbet-el-Kharab . It forms the safe anchorage Mouillage des Boutres (Boutres Anchorage).
geography
The island lies at the mouth of the Gulf of Tadjoura in the Ghoubbet-el-Kharab. It is elongated and extends from south to north, with a wider (<100 m) northern part and a very narrow southern part. In total it is only about 700 m long.
