Fanny Schreck

Fanny Schreck , nee Franziska Ott , also Fanny Schreck-Norman , (born June 11, 1877 in Ulm , † December 11, 1951 in Ulm-Söflingen ) was a German actress .

Life

She was born as Franziska Ott in 1877. In 1910 she married the actor Max Schreck and from then on called herself Fanny Schreck. Sometimes she was performed as Fanny Schreck-Norman in opening credits.

She received highly acclaimed reviews for her roles in the theater, although they never went beyond batch roles . She appeared repeatedly in small supporting roles in the film, especially in the 1930s she was very busy. She was also a frequent spokesperson for radio broadcasts for Germany's broadcaster, Reichssender Berlin. In 1937/38 she was an artist for the Reichsrundfunk.

Fanny Schreck died forgotten in 1951 in Ulm-Söflingen.
