Fantastic Shop is a German store and distributor of strategic board games , so-called conflict simulations (KoSim).
In 1977 Werner Fuchs and newspaper editor Bernd Holzrichter founded the Fantastic Shop in Düsseldorf, Germany's first adventure game store.
Games by the American company Simulations Publications were sold for German-speaking countries , including Panzerarmee Afrika , Normandy , Seelöwe and Borodino . The original English-language games were supplemented with machine-written and then copied translations.
The publishing house Fantasy Productions emerged in 1983 from the flourishing business .
