Fardis ( Persian فردیس) is the capital of the Fardis administrative district in the Alborz province . In 2016 the city had over 181,000 inhabitants.
geography
The city is located in the southeastern part of Alborz, south of the Elburs Mountains , south of Karaj , the provincial capital. The altitude is 1276 meters above sea level.
history
The city emerged from parts of Karaj in 2013 .
