The Fargo-Moorhead Express were an American ice hockey team from Fargo , North Dakota . The team played in the American Hockey Association during the 1992–93 season .
history
The team was founded in 1992 as a franchise of the first-ever American Hockey Association . In their only season, the Express took second place in the AHA after playing 30 games. The season was ended prematurely due to financial problems by the management of the league and the league was dissolved. A championship title was not awarded. The Express were the only professional ice hockey team in Fargo to date.
