Faruk Čaklovica

Faruk Čaklovica (* 1953 in Zvornik , Yugoslavia , today Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is professor of veterinary medicine and was rector of the University of Sarajevo from 2006–2012. He is u. a. Member of the board of directors in the network of Balkan universities .

Life

Faruk Caklovica received his training in veterinary medicine from the University of Sarajevo with a bachelor's degree in 1977, his master's and doctor's degrees from the same faculty in veterinary medicine in 1983 and 1987.

Dr. Caklovica through study visits to the USA (1987), Denmark (1989), Malaysia (1996), Egypt (1999) and Germany (1999).

From 2001 to 2006 he was dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In 2006 he was elected rector of the University of Sarajevo. He has written 143 scientific publications in the fields of human nutrition, applied microbiology in food production, bacterial diseases and food, and technology and hygiene in food production.

Dr. Faruk Caklovica is married and has one child.
