The Książęca Bażantarnia ( German  Princely pheasant ) in Poreba ( German  Poremba ) in pszczyna county is a pleasure palace, which commissioned by Prince Friedrich Erdmann (Anhalt-Köthen-Pless) by court architect William Pusch by a modified from him design of Carl Gotthard Langhans in between 1797 and 1800.

Architecture and equipment

The classicist building was erected on a hill in the middle of a park where pheasant breeding was carried out. The pleasure palace has a 24 x 13 m rectangular floor plan. In the 20th century, the palace was supplemented by an 11 x 8 m extension on the north side.

The partially basement building has two floors and a roof floor, illuminated by portholes . The main facade on the south side has five window axes, with the three central window axes forming a niche with four Tuscan columns, while the windows on both edge axes are surrounded by large arcades, a solution typical of Langhans designs.

The building has a hipped roof covered with red roof tiles. The rooms on the ground floor and first floor have been used for wedding celebrations that have been held there since 2011, and guest bedrooms are located on the top floor.

The palace was entered on January 20, 1966 under no. 504/65 in the list of architectural monuments of the Silesian Voivodeship.
