Fatumanga (also: Fatoumanga , Fatumaga ) is an island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .

geography

Fatumanga is the most south-westerly island in the archipelago. The closest islands are Totokamaka and Muʻomuʻa . In the vicinity are the reefs Fotuaikamoana , Lua Atofuaa and Finau Patches .

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vava'u group, Fatumanga is occasionally hit by cyclones .
