Faustas Latėnas
Faustas Latėnas (born May 16, 1956 in Dusetos , Zarasai district ) is a Lithuanian composer and politician .
Life
He graduated eight classes at the middle school Zarasai , 1975, Juozas Gruodis -Musiktechnikum Kaunas and 1980, the study of composition at Lietuvos Valstybinė konservatorija . From 1979 to 1990 he was music director of the Vilnius Puppet Theater, from 1990 to 1991 director, from 1995 to 1996 LNADT theater director. In 1996, 2005 and 2013 he was Vice Minister for Culture (in the Butkevičius cabinet ). He was an advisor to the Lithuanian government and cultural attaché in Russia. From 1999 to 2005 he worked as an advisor to the Lithuanian Prime Minister.
