Fistball Bundesliga 2013/14 (Austria)
The Austrian fistball championship was held in 2013/14 for the 66th time on the field and for the 43rd time in the hall at the level of the 1st Bundesliga fistball . This determined the Austrian fistball champion and the representatives of Austria in the international competitions of the 2014/15 season in two rounds and a Final 3.
Bundesliga
In the 2013/2014 field season there were four favorites for the Austrian field title with FBC ASKÖ Linz-Urfahr , TuS Raiffeisen Kremsmünster , Union Compact Freistadt and with UFG Sparkasse Grieskirchen / Pötting . In the hall, the TUS Kremsmünster around hall specialist Klemens Kronsteiner was able to prevail over and over again in previous years and therefore they were also considered the favorites in the fight for the championship title.
field
In the field, the starting position for the spring season was determined in one go. The first six teams were qualified for the master playoff in the spring. The overall winner received 5 bonus points for the spring, the second placed 4 bonus points, ... and the sixth placed 0 bonus points.
The 7th and 8th of the 1st Bundesliga and the top three teams of the 2nd Bundesliga East and West each had to fight for two promotion places for the coming season. In the master playoff, the best six teams of the regular season fought for places 1 - 3. The first three teams then fought for the Austrian championship title on the field in Final 3.
