Feichtenalm

The Feichtenalm is an alpine pasture in the Sachrang part of the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau .

The Feichtenalm hut is a listed building and is registered in the Bavarian monument list under the number D-1-87-114-129 .

Building description

The alpine hut on the Feichtenalm is a single-storey building with fracked roof with partly plastered quarry stone masonry . The building is marked with the year 1812. A large paddock with a Klaubstein wall connects directly to the hut . Another kaser northeast of the existing hut has fallen into disrepair.

Todays use

The Alm is presumably open and there is no catering.

location

The Feichtenalm is on the border with Austria, parts of the alpine pastures are on the Austrian side. The Alm is at an altitude of 1500  m above sea level. NN south of the Klausenberg .
