Precision saw

Cranked fine saw, usable on both sides

The precision saw is a hand saw with a fine-toothed, thin, rectangular saw blade . The back of the saw blade is reinforced with a flanged U-shaped bar. Your booklet is sitting on a straight, bent or fold-down fishing . The precision saw is a pure wood saw. It can be used to make all kinds of straight cuts in wood.

It is part of the basic equipment of every carpenter. It is used for fine cuts that do not penetrate deeply into the wood, for cutting strips and wooden dowels to length and for making wood connections .

In handicraft lessons in schools, the precision saw is mainly used for sawing boards and panels. The fine saw is also suitable for sawing plywood if only straight cuts are required in a workpiece (in contrast to shaped parts for which the fretsaw is used).
