Fine balance

A fine balance or precision balance is a balance for masses of approx. 200 g or less with a resolution (reading accuracy) of 0.1-0.001 g. Even more precise balances with a resolution of 0.1 mg are called analytical balances .

Some precision scales allow different units to be selected.

They are used z. B. from jewelers , dentists ( dental gold ), gastronomy ( truffles , caviar ), reloading , laboratories etc.
