history

The park railway- like field railway has been operated since 2003 on Sundays and public holidays from Easter to the end of October with historic locomotives for passenger transport.

The ring-shaped route runs from the engine shed around the Grauerort fortress to the Elbe dike and then back to the engine shed. The rails with the profile customary for the Federal Railroad are laid on wooden sleepers. Only the tracks in the locomotive shed themselves consist of the 80 rail profiles customary on narrow-gauge railways.

Rail vehicles

There are four diesel locomotives, five tipping lorries and other freight wagons and ammunition wagons from the Krupp-Dollberg company that have been converted into passenger cars .
