The Feldbergbahn is a 900 meter long small cabin cable car on the Feldberg in the Black Forest . It begins above the B 317 at around 1270 m above sea level, overcomes a difference in altitude of 175 meters and ends on the pre-summit of the Feldberg, the 1449 m high Seebuck . There is a direct route from the mountain station to the Feldberg tower.

The single-cable gondola , built by Doppelmayr in 1999 , can be operated with armchairs (winter operation) as well as with cabins (summer operation). With 57 armchairs, each with 6 people, a transport capacity of 3000 people / h is achieved, the 15 cabins for 8 people can transport 800 people per hour. The 43 mm thick hauling rope, which was renewed in 2009, runs over 8 cable car supports. Both the electric drive and the tensioning device are located in the valley station. Transport as a pedestrian is not possible in the winter months.
