The field chapel is a small, rectangular building north of Markt Wald in the Unterallgäu district ( Bavaria ), which is located on the road to Bürgle.

architecture

The listed building was built in the 18th or 19th century and faces north. It is provided with a saddle roof covered, below the eaves a profile runs cornice . On the south side there is a round arched arcade with a bulging spire and a profiled archivolt . Both side walls contain a round arch cover, possibly these were formerly windows. An iron cross is on the ridge of the south gable.

The interior is divided into two parts. There is a groin vault in the southern area . The northern area is separated by a classical iron grating in a basket arch. The northern part contains a transversely rectangular groin vault. The cafeteria altar is made of wood and is marbled. Above that there is a niche for figures.
