Felix von Fritzlar

Saint Felix von Fritzlar († around 790) was a Benedictine monk in the 8th century.

Felix was a monk in the Benedictine monastery Fritzlar founded by Bonifatius in 724 and worked as a missionary in the Christianization of the Saxons . He was slain by pagan Saxons around 790. He was later canonized as a martyr . His feast day in the Catholic Church is June 5th.
